Do I need an appointment?

We always recommend booking an appointment to ensure we have a stylist on hand to help and your own private suite for the duration of an appointment, however if we have availability, we will always welcome a walk in.

How long does an appointment last?

Accepted Answer

Our Classic appointment is 90 minutes. Our Blushing Bride and Bride Tribe experiences are 2 hours, giving you extra time to relax and celebrate.

Question 3

How many guests can I bring?

Accepted Answer

Classic: Bride + up to 3 guests. Blushing Bride: Bride + up to 5 guests. Bride Tribe: Bride + up to 8 guests. We generally recommend 2–3 trusted people for a calmer, clearer experience.

Question 4

What should I wear?

Nude, seamless underwear is ideal. A well-fitting bra can help, though most dresses have built-in support. If you plan to wear shapewear on your wedding day, bring it along.

Can I take photos?

Yes! We just remind brides that phone cameras rarely capture the true detail and fit of a designer dress. Always make your decision based on how you feel in the mirror, not on the screen.

Where is the best place to park?

We're based at Castle House, 7a Castle Meadow, Norwich NR1 3BY. The closest car park is Castle Quarter, with Rose Lane and St Andrews multi-storey car parks just short walks away. We're also only a 10-minute walk from Norwich Train Station, so arriving by train is a great option too.

Do you stock plus-size samples?

Yes, we pride ourselves on being inclusive. Our showroom dresses range from a UK size 8 up to a UK size 30.

Can I buy off the peg?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you fall in love with the showroom dress you try on, you can often purchase it and take it home the very same day. Perfect for shorter timescales or if you want your dress immediately.

Are dresses returnable?

Accepted Answer

Because made-to-order dresses are commissioned specifically for you, and collection dresses are sold as seen, all sales are final. We'll make sure you're 100% confident before you say yes.

Our collection is carefully curated from world-leading designers: Milla Nova (exclusive Norfolk stockist), Maggie Sottero, Ellis Bridals, Jane Aston, and Jarice Bridal, alongside our own hand-curated Iconic Collection, available exclusively at Pure Brides.

What is your price range?

Our collection ranges from £1,200 to £3,500. We also have Off The Peg (to take home today) options available. We offer flexible Payl8r finance to help spread the cost.

Question 12

Do you offer alterations?

Accepted Answer

Alterations are not included in the dress price. We have a wonderful network of recommended independent bridal seamstresses who will quote you directly. Budget roughly £200–£400 for standard alterations.

When should I start shopping?

Accepted Answer

We recommend starting at least 12–18 months before your wedding date. Designer dresses take around 6 months to arrive, and we like to allow 3 months for alterations, giving you a stress-free build-up with plenty of time on your side. The earlier you come, the more relaxed the whole process feels.

What if my wedding is soon?

Accepted Answer

Don't panic. Some designers offer rush orders, and if you buy out of the collection you can take your dress home the same day. Come in and we'll talk through your options honestly.
